Time & Place

The Pilgrm is the champion of usually forgotten details, a sustainable sensory sanctum that envelopes you as you step off London Street. It's entering a world where it's ok to linger a while on the staircase admiring its antique form and it's fine to spend time absorbing eye catchers on the wall. The Pilgrm is place created for your pace, your ease and comfort and allows go-slow or rapid just as you need. Made of curious stories and a lover of making more - its heartbeat tunes in to just what you need on the day and guides a gentle rhythm through to dusk.

The Guardian logo

"There are hundreds of places to eat around here, but I doubt any serve such tempting, well-travelled food as that devised by head chef Sara Lewis (formerly of Grain Store), or are so charming about it. Cocktails, comfort, great cuisine... not things a true pilgrim would expect, but I can imagine food, style and bargain lovers everywhere being happy to make a pilgrmage."

Monocle logo

"The finishes here are the first hint at the care that's gone into refitting the Victorian-era digs. Rooms feature custom steel-worked fittings, aluminium-and-brass lamps (salvaged from a former hospital) and some of the comfiest beds you'll sleep in."

The Daily Telegraph logo

"A Victorian-era building brought back to life as a 'reinterpretation' of the traditional hotel. All the frills have been stripped back so you're left with simple, but considered, hallmarks: smooth check-in, meticulous design, a world-class cocktail menu and decent coffee. In short, it's the future of city hoteliering."

Condé Nast logo

"The Pilgrm is one of a smattering of new openings marking the area as one to watch. As a base in London, The Pilgrm aims to offer everything you need, nothing you don't. A smart and affordable take on the traditional London hotel, The Pilgrm is certainly adding to the burgeoning aura of Paddington's - whisper it - cool."
