Discovery

Step off London Street and feel like you've come home. Stay a night, move in for longer - leave the humdrum behind.

The Building

A slice of classic London - you'll find us as custodians of a clutch of quintessential Victorian buildings with a whole storybook of tales to tell. We've made our home over a series of wings and floors bringing a new narrative to this grand dame of heritage. During the ultimate story of sustainability - restoration - we've kept key features from past architects of design to charm all generations guests. Two of our favourite things? The beauty of London can be absorbed from all windows and why not take a short skip to the lush greenery of Hyde Park...

Design

Born of creation and an admiration of collections. The Pilgrm is a custodian of treasures. Admirers of antique timber will love the feel of burnished woods and age worn grains. Those with an eye for textile will enjoy the smoothness of leather and will take pleasure in soft plushy feels.

Originality replaces catalogue giving an footprint of responsible design and authentic re-use which has given The Pilgrm its own identity forged around craftsmanship and knowing exactly where materials, lighting and furniture have come from and their process of creation. Unique, thoughtful, sustainable, real - are all highly sought after definitions in the world of hotel design yet form the very essence of The Pilgrm's being. The materiality of The Pilgrm has gently inspired much more than just aesthetics, taking food, drink, habits and ways by the hand to create The Pilgrm as its whole self with a story behind each choice.

People

The day to day, there for the big things, the little things and the special touches. Since the start of The Pilgrm's journey we have blended our own version of holistic care that brings calm expertise and natural instinct to give a gentle feeling of wellness and approachable ease. Makes for happy stays and great starts to your days.

Neighbourhood

Ask us for our neighbourhood tips and we'll tell you where to venture. Stay local and happen across pretty parks and tiny trend treasures. Things change quickly round here so from visit to stay throughout the year be sure to look with new eyes and be curious around corners.

Of course you're handy for the tubes and trains for starts, middle or ends of adventures - or just the day to day ease of London life.

As featured in

Evening Standard logo

"The balcony is a top spot for a cocktail and people watching. The Pilgrm takes art seriously with an evolving collection and seasonal mini exhibitions. A genuinely cool spot that will leave plenty of cash for what you came to London to do."

Monocle logo

"The finishes here are the first hint at the care that's gone into refitting the Victorian-era digs. Rooms feature custom steel-worked fittings, aluminium-and-brass lamps (salvaged from a former hospital) and some of the comfiest beds you'll sleep in."

Daily Telegraph logo

"A Victorian-era building brought back to life as a 'reinterpretation' of the traditional hotel. All the frills have been stripped back so you're left with simple, but considered, hallmarks: smooth check-in, meticulous design, a world-class cocktail menu and decent coffee. In short, it's the future of city hoteliering."

Conde Nast logo

"It's the most stylish, cool and comfortable place you'll get for the price in central London"

Sunday Times logo

"It's a hotel successfully masquerading as a neighbourhood hangout, so there's no lobby or reception. Instead, you step into a cafe and queue for your keycard behind a local ordering a cold-pressed juice or a barista coffee... The bedrooms' restored 200-year-old parquet floors and cast-iron radiators add class; the wall-hung ivy, a sense of wellbeing."

Elle logo

"The renovated Victorian building now houses a regularly changing art collection, a cosy lounge that's perfect for some laptop time and a cocktail terrace overlooking the bustling streets below. At The Pilgrm, the decor features bold blue carpets, repurposed radiators and lots of plants, as well as wrought-iron railings and glossy parquet floors. It also serves a mean brunch at weekends."
