A Great Greek Feast
Thank you to everyone who supported us last month by joining our Family Kitchen evening here at The Pilgrm, in aid of Evelina London Children’s Hospital. We were humbled by the generosity from our locals, friends, family, suppliers, hotel guests, and especially from those who donated despite not being able to come along.
We are delighted to have raised a total of £3,000, which will go towards developing the family room within the children’s hospital. A much-needed place for patients and their relatives during times of need and trauma.
Originally founded in 1869 on Southwark Bridge Road, the hospital celebrates it's 150th birthday this year and is now the second largest provider of children’s services in London.
We were incredibly grateful to have the support of our suppliers, which meant that every penny raised could go directly to the hospital. Thank you Belazu, Maltby & Greek, HG Walter, Les Caves de Pyrene and Hop King.
Not forgetting, a huge thank you to visiting chef and mum to owner of The Pilgrm, Annie Catifeoglou, who cooked up a sensational Greek feast for nearly 100 guests. We’re sure those family recipe Soujiukakia will go down in history as being the best meatballs to ever be created here at The Pilgrm!
